Lowrance introduces a new series of lake maps bringing a new level of detail to inland lakes for the benefit of boaters and fishermen. Enhanced Lake Maps are based on data with 4 times the resolution of previous data. Shorelines show more features, including small inlets, and look just like the actual shorelines, not angular or generalized. Small islands are now included and bottom structure, including river and creek channels in reservoirs, can also be seen. Underwater features on man-made lakes reflect conditions prior to inundation of the lake. Best of all, these lake maps now show depth contours - with each contour labeled with its actual depth.

Select Enhanced Lake Maps will be available for free download. If combined with a FreedomMap™ or MapCreate™ map, the Enhanced Lake Map will seamlessly replace the existing lake data with the new higher resolution data. Just add it to your memory card*.

Note: Be careful not to exceed the memory limit of your digital memory card.

Select Enhanced Lake Maps will also include submerged structures (those maps marked below with a red asterisk *). Submerged structures generally include river and creek channels, ponds, streams, roads, foundations, railroads, pipelines, oil and gas wells, etc.

ENHANCED LAKE MAPS DATA LICENSE AGREEMENT
  
This is a legal agreement between you, the end user requesting download of data, and LEI.  By downloading the enhanced lake map data ("Data") you are consenting to the terms of this End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). This Data is licensed, not sold.  LEI remains the owner of all right, title and interest in the Data.  We grant to you the non-exclusive, non-assignable right to use this Data for supplemental navigation reference purposes, but only as long as you comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.  We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement if you violate any aspect of this Agreement.  You are responsible for using official government charts and prudent navigation for safe travel.  IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT PROCEED WITH DOWNLOADING OF DATA.

USES PERMITTED: The Data may be used by you for your own personal use.  You may copy the downloaded Data for back up and archival purposes, provided that the original and each copy is kept in your possession.

RESTRICTIONS:  You may NOT modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble sublicense, rent, lease or sell any portion of the downloaded Data. You may NOT create derivative works based upon the Data.  You may NOT place the Data onto a server so that it is accessible via a public network such as the Internet.

NO WARRANTY:  The Data is being delivered to you AS IS, and LEI makes no warranty as to its use or performance.  LEI MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE MERCHANTABILITY OR FITTNESS OF THE DATA FOR ANY PURPOSE.  IN NO EVENT WILL LEI BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES.  Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.  LEI is under no obligation to support the Data in any way.

GOVERNING LAW AND GENERAL PROVISIONS:  This Agreement represents the entire understanding and agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA.  This Agreement will not be governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.  If any part of this Agreement is found void and unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the remainder of the Agreement.  This Agreement shall automatically terminate upon failure by you to comply with its terms.
